Proceed through it. A Gearhead Heavy awaits you on the other side. Use Pop Rockets to easily wipe him out and armor-piercing ammo to take out the enemies.
Head up the stairs and around the catwalk using electronic and pulse weapons to take out the Sentry Bots. On the top level of the catwalk area are many Gearhead enemies that you can snipe from across the way. A Heavy eventually comes down an elevator, but it's pretty easy to take cover behind one of the metal panels and fire sniper rounds at his head.
Alongside one of the catwalks is a yellow box which you can activate manually to electrocute nearby enemies. When you hit the elevator button, back up Gearheads arrive. Snipe them from the elevator platform, but watch out since some will rush your high position. The elevator doesn't turn out to be the best idea, as the Gearhead Boss sends it crashing down to the basement floor. You can't do anything but fall, so don't panic! When you wake up, save your game -- there is no checkpoint here.
Duck under the elevator door. At the bottom there are more enemies, but nothing you haven't seen before. The stairs lead to a dead end, but you can duck into a lower area here and find a ladder leading up.
Follow the catwalks around killing everything in sight -- a Sentry Bot helps a lot here. The path eventually leads to a room filled with spinning blades and fire.
Also, there's a Heavy to contend with. You can duck under the blades here and safely shoot. Note that a nearby Grindable Lock can be opened duck! Some enemies may run right into the blades if you are lucky.
Eliminating the Heavy will bring down the flame barrier allowing you to continue up the stairs. It may be time to switch to Pop Rockets as well.
And if you thought that was bad, the area at the top of the stairs with all the generators has even more enemies. Sniping works well here. Additionally, grenades can help damage enemies clumped together. Just past a locker room at the far end of the generator area is the Gearhead Boss. He is equipped with Pop Rockets which you want to avoid at all costs. Peek above the staircase and pummel him with Pop Rockets of your own. Now you're boostin' with Pure-Flow. The best boost in the Wasteland!
The Monarch comes with Miniguns, Rocket Launchers and Pulse Cannon preinstalled, more base weapons than any other vehicle. In Wellspring , beside the man leaning on the Dune Buster facing the Mick's Garage , is an unusable variant of the Monarch with Miniguns equipped and an unique paint job similar to the "Second Hand" theme of the Cuprino. The Heavy Armor upgrade encloses the car entirely, so any paint job will be covered by it. Trivia [ ]. Categories Vehicles Add category.
