My 7 year loves this game, but I found that when he connected to other worlds, there was some inappropriate content.
Some worlds had curse words written in the Kid, 11 years old February 15, Eden Good for kids, because you can color any block, including water and if you are scared of he monsters like me you can turn them off.
Kid, 10 years old June 11, Is it any good? Our editors recommend. City building at its complicated best; worth the effort. And you could steer the car with tilting the screen.
And when your done riding in it, them jump and you can walk again. Another cool improvement is if you can fly, cause in this game you can't jump that high. Another good improvement would be changing the color of the red animals skin. Because the rest of the animals skin color you can change, but not the red ones. And the last cool thing that would be fun to have on this game is fake people or real people. Like if someone else happens to be playing in the same world as you, then you should be able to see them and chat with them.
And fake people, if no one is playing the same world as you, then fake people driving cars or inside of buildings can be great. Thanks for reading my review and I really hope one of these choices can be added in the game!
I've had this game since I bought my ipod touch 4th gen. When it was still pretty fresh in the app store I often played it more than minecraft just for the feature of posting my worlds to the game's server. As minecraft keeps adding new features, I find less of a need to play this one which is a shame. So in conclusion keep the theme of simplicity in the game but also keep it updated and inprove it as other technology improves.
This game is great despite it mainly trying to be a knock off of minecraft. It handles well, but I have a few nit picks. Number 1: I think you've abandoned this game. You haven't updated it in a year! I wouldn't imagine it to be to hard to add in a few more game mechanics. Try to make it seem less minecraft knock off-y and make it like an actual game.
Number 2: This game seriously needs to be debugged. Now I don't know if it's just me experiencing these problems but I'm gonna say them. Because Eden - World Builder lacks goal driven tasks, players must create their own goals.
Goals begin with ideas. After a few minutes of roaming around, player will sense they need to build a shelter to which they can periodically retire to. Then must then examine the environment searching for even ground. If flat ground is not immediately available, players will have to use the pick axe to destroy surrounding blocks in order to start the foundation. Players must then have the foresight to create windows, and figure out a way build a roof that covers the shelter to keep pests from getting in.
Many games take the planning element out of gameplay by inserting task lists, goals, and hints. Eden -- World Builder offers none of the above. In fact, once users are inserted into the world, there are no descriptions of what purpose each block serves, or what the items actually do. It is important that players maintain control of their impulses and behavior.
While the game offers many ways to build custom structures, players are also provided with equal opportunities to destroy them. Players can set all flammable items on fire with the tap of a button.
They can also destroy large portions of the environment by setting TNT blocks on fire. Especially if a shelter was built using wood as the main reinforcing agent, players should be very careful about igniting anything.
Due to the high sensitivity of the touch screen, players must be deliberate with all of their movements. Frustration can easily ensue if players are unable to achieve a desired result. It is here where they need to be resolute and committed to finishing a structure and avoid quitting the game all together.
During gameplay, Players will encounter a large variety of usable blocks. Each block is used for a unique purpose and yields different results when constructing buildings or changing the environment. Organization is essential to the building process as players are tasked with utilizing and arranging blocks strategically and systematically.
For example, when creating a structure for shelter, players must choose and arrange their materials strategically. Learning to utilize the proper materials in order to achieve a specific goal is part of the Organization thinking skill.
